L’artiste exerce sa créativité sur une thématique qui est des plus actuelles. A l’heure où la planète et l’avenir de l’humanité sont menacés, nous constatons progressivement les dégâts qui pour beaucoup sont déjà irréversibles…
Passionné et éprouvant un sentiment d’admiration envers les animaux, LAlur cherche à communiquer une prise de conscience par l’interprétation de son art. Il met à jour un culte qui est encore pour certaines gens signe de classe, de distinction et de luxe : le trophée de chasse.
L’idée d’ôter la vie à un être pour sa tête, dans le but de l’accrocher fièrement au mur ne vous dérange-t-elle pas ? Et si cet animal n’existait plus ou bientôt plus ?
Cette réflexion est exposée à travers ses œuvres en modernisant cette idée sombre.
Il créait se qu’il appelle des trophées de chasse modernes, par le biais de diverses matières (mastique, papier, sable, polystyrène, acrylique), techniques et accessoires. Le mot moderne à une connotation d’évolution, signe d’une avancée et vient donc en contradiction avec l’idée primitive que ce culte représente. En ajoutant ainsi ce terme, LAlur entends donner à cet ancien culte une nouvelle représentation en utilisant l’art, ses inspirations et émotions dans la transmission de son message.
En jouant sur les textures et les couleurs, l’artiste donne à ses créations, un style artistique qu’il mari à certaines de ses peintures en les ornant de cadres anciens ce qui les rendent véritablement unique en tout point.
